The superstar has been following this tradition for quite some time, leading to his films now being synonymous with the festival.

But it seems like Salman’s obsession is doing him more harm than good, as many of his films, including the upcoming ‘Sikandar’, are taking big hits in quality just to accommodate his release tradition.
With Sikandar’s teaser being out today, many have claimed that it fails in terms of the dialogues, with Salman’s delivery being even worse.

His face continues to look emotionless and tired, and the same can be felt through his voice.
The voice seems raspy and very un-energetic, a high contrast to the Salman Khan we know and love from ‘Kick’.

Even the storyline seems predictable, with much of the teaser’s characteristics coinciding with that of a typical average masala film.
People say that traditions are made to be broken, especially if they don’t serve their purpose.
Salman Khan needs to open his eyes and realise that it is high time he prioritises quality over tradition, and let go of this Eid stubbornness to have a chance at gaining back his seemingly diminished stardom.
