Instead of a high-octane mass spectacle, we get lazy dialogue delivery, cringeworthy writing and a lackluster presentation.
This only makes us appreciate what Atlee did with Jawan even more. Just a month before release, Sajid Nadiadwala dropped another teaser, hoping to create hype.

Instead, it raises concerns. Salman’s dialogue delivery is so flat, his voiceover has no energy.
The writing? Feels like a decade old masala film, maybe even worse. It’s hard to believe this is the same Murugadoss who gave Sivakarthikeyan a solid looking teaser for Madharasi. What went wrong here?

When Atlee made Jawan, he knew exactly how to present Shah Rukh Khan. Every punchline hit; every frame screamed larger-than-life.
SRK’s screen presence was maximized, he looked like an unstoppable force. But Sikandar?
Fails at the basics. Salman looks robotic, there’s no signature mass moment and the whole thing feels like a poorly made web series. How does a film with this scale look so uninspired?
Masala films rely on hero elevation. The right dialogues, the right build-up and the right execution makes all the difference.
Atlee made sure every move of SRK in Jawan had an impact. But here, Salman looks like he’s sleepwalking.
Has he lost interest in mass films or has Murugadoss failed to showcase him properly?
With Sikandar, Murugadoss had a golden chance to repack Salman in a fresh and powerful avatar.
But if the teaser is anything to go by, this might end up being another forgettable mass film.
