Akshay Kumar has been going through one of the worst phases in his career.

From Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to Khel Khel Mein and Sarfira, none of his recent projects have managed to impact the audience even in the slightest of ways.

The man who once delivered memorable films like Hera Pheri, Special 26, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and more, has now been stuck in a rut.

He had a guest role in OMG 2, and Sooryavanshi was a multi-starrer. Other films which had him in the lead were huge flops.

They were such big flops that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan faced a Rs 250 crore loss, and Bachchhan Paandey faced a Rs 100 crore loss.

Even well-made films like Khel Khel Mein, Sarfira and Mission Raniganj failed at the box office.

The situation was such that while there were box office failures, critics didn’t even praise him for his performance. His roles seemed flat, with no effort put into his characters.

His performance reflected a lack of passion and dedication. Despite delivering multiple films per year, none of them were good enough.

Yesterday, Akshay’s Sky Force was released, and for a change, the film has been receiving decent reviews.

While the film isn’t spectacular, it is a change from the usual disappointing Akshay Kumar performances. Critics have been calling it a decent performance by Akshay, making the film a good one-time watch.

While its performance at the box office doesn’t look very promising, Akshay Kumar has been praised for his performance in the film.

Sky Force can’t be called a game-changer film for Akshya, but it could be the beginning of his redemption.
