After the unexpected success of Raid 2, Ajay Devgn is going to witness a tough time at the silver screens. His film Son of Sardaar 2 is going to release in the upcoming week but the trends are proving that it might be a disastrous run.
To begin with, the film has failed to create any impact whatsoever. The selling point of the film was laughing-riot comedy as was seen in Son of Sardaar which had an iconic fan reception.
But with the second part, the teasers, trailer and music has failed to create any buzz and now the makers are bringing another trailer in hopes of creating some impact amongst the fans. Son of Sardaar with Sonakshi Sinha as lead actress had buzz with its music and the role of Sanjay Dutt as well.
SoS 2 also has stars like Sanjay Dutt, Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan but the buzz is missing. But the pre-bookings are a low-blow to the film’s chance of even an average performance.
To add to the troubles of the film, Mohit Suri’s directorial Saiyaara has picked up an unmatched pace at the box office. With non-stop bookings of Saiyaara starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, this YRF romantic-musical-drama has taken over the box office and will continue to do so for a few weeks to come as per the experts.
Netizens are predicting that SoS 2 will be crushed at the box office. They are afraid that Ajay might want to opt out and go for an OTT release with all odds against his film.
