Amitabh Bachchan’s Sooryavansham created headlines over the years for its repeated runs on Sony Max. The family drama, action, and performances specifically grabbed a lot of attention from the audience.

Directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana, the film also features late actress Soundarya along with Jayasudha, Anupam Kher, Kader Khan, Mukesh Rishi, and many others playing important roles. Meanwhile, the film has got a new update that has left the general public in shock.

Reports have claimed that Sooryavansham will soon stop airing on Sony Max. The reasons for the same remain unknown and the channel is yet to share a statement on the same, making an official confirmation.

The film is reportedly scheduled to be released through Goldmines in June this year.

This means that the film will be easily accessible on YouTube since Goldmines has been the home of many cult classics from Bollywood over the years alongside the Hindi dubbed versions of several South films.

Sooryavansham was originally a flop at the time of release despite that it received positive reactions from critics.
