Timangshu Dhulia has been in the headlines for some time after his comments on Dhurandhar. The well-known actor and director is trending once again after he made another statement related to the kind of films being made today.
A video of Timangshu speaking at an event on stage is currently going viral. Notably, he was heard saying that he does not watch certain kinds of films nowadays. Timangshu then started referring to the lead characters of movies in today’s time, saying that they appear angry and sad. He said that the phase started with Baahubali and has continued with films like Kantara.
He also said that a lot of bloodshed is happening on screen without reason, something which he doesn’t like. Apart from that, Timangshu shared his opinion about the looks of the actors, stating that the actors with long hair and beards appear like “rakshas” on screen.
Notably, the latest video emerged a few days after Timangshu claimed that Dhurandhar had no storyline. In the same conversation, he also said that the films do not have good stories anymore and the writers who can bring good stories are not getting a chance.
While the latest video went viral, the criticism against Timangshu also continued on social media. Reacting to the video on multiple platforms, netizens wrote that Timangshu does not have the right to criticize films like Baahubali and that he should instead look at his own track record, where he has not delivered any successful films.
On the other hand, a particular section was also spotted supporting Timangshu. They claimed that most of the filmmakers are repeating the formula of extreme violence with a lengthy runtime and a thin storyline. The same people even stated that such films leave a bad impact on society and that the trend should be changed.
Timangshu’s statements have clearly started a debate on social media about a lot of things. Now it remains to be seen whether this situation will come under control in the coming days or if it will take a different turn.

Leftist-minded Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is quite a favourite of the Bollywood gang, is saying that Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar had no story at all.
