Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ has taken over the box office in just a few days of its release. However, despite repeated tries and measures, piracy is a problem that not even the most guarded movies can escape. The biopic based on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat has fallen victim to piracy and is one of the top of download lists on torrent sites.

The movie, which was voted as the Best Film of 2016 despite having released five days ago and competing with films like ‘Neerja’, ‘Aligarh’, and ‘Dear Zindagi’, had earlier been leaked on sites like YouTube and Facebook hours after its release. Those links have been removed since but the much awaited movie is now available to easily watch online or download on several torrent sites like KickAss Torrents and ThePirateBay that are supposedly blocked by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).
While ‘Dangal’ is having a good run at the box office and has received critical acclaim, piracy could severely affect its revenue but nothing can be done.
