Yash has finally started shooting for the magnum opus Ramayana and we couldn’t be more excited about it! The actor was busy with another film, Toxic, and is now onboard for Ramayana Part 1.
Reportedly, the shoot will be happening for around 60-70 days as a part of which Yash will be working closely with stunt icon Guy Norris of The Suicide Squad fame.
Yash is all set to bring Ravana to life in the larger-than-life action drama directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
Ramayana Part 1 will be released on Diwali 2026, with Part 2 releasing in 2027.
Earlier, there were various speculations about whether Yash will be joining the film co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and more. Once confirmed, everyone is excited to see the Rocking Star in a never-before-seen avatar.
Yash made the entire nation cheer for him with KGF, and now everyone is waiting for his grand return in Ramayana as Ravana.
The actor’s presence is surely going to kill it on the screen and chances are that he may even overshadow Ranbir Kapoor as Ram.
So, will he be able to win the hearts of the audience again? Let’s wait and watch!
Considering that Ramayana is being split into two parts, it remains to be seen if Yash will get enough screen space in the first installment or whether Nitesh will use the superstar’s potential in the second part.
Audiences are also waiting to see a glimpse of the main characters. Hopefully, the makers should provide an update on the same in the upcoming months.
