The new year is just round the corner and like every year, the list of movies coming to theaters is here.
The best part about movies hitting our screens is the directors behind it. We will get to witness movies from many of the greatest directors of the last few decades and it’s not an exaggeration.
2024 will have movies directed by Francis Ford Coppola, Ridley Scott, Tim Burton, Denis Villeneuve, M. Night Shyamalan, George Miller and the list goes on.
The biggest name of all is Francis Ford Coppola. The veteran director will be returning after a gap of thirteen years (Twixt was his last directorial). Megalopolis is an epic science fiction drama, written and directed by Coppola. The release date is not out yet but it will be in 2024.
George Miller is ready to entertain us with another Mad Max movie, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead role.
Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part 2 is also slated to release next year.
Other directors who will be returning in 2024 include Barry Jenkins, Robert Eggers and Bong Joon-ho.
2024 may be the best year for films in recent times.
