DCEU is having its last run, and that too with its most successful franchise, but the ride is indeed a bumpy one as in terms of the review of the critics, it is brutally crucified. But the audience has some different stories to tell.
On IMDb, the rating stands at 6 as of now, but Rotten Tomatoes show a massive contrast between the critics and the fans.
The critics gave it a very below-average status, standing at just 36% with 139 reviews. From a rotten mess of a superhero film to “a prime example of why an overhaul of DC Films is desperately needed.”
But the audience did hail it as a good movie, but again, nostalgia might be one big factor as it’s the last one in the lineup. So, the ratings might be deceiving, but overall, it looks like a fun watch for them.
The audience’s rating is standing at a comfortable 78% as they straight up reject the critics’ opinion. Some even are claiming that it is better than their expectations. Though the fact is prominent that it is nowhere as good as the first installment, it has certain downsides.
But again, the studio was definitely in a hurry to cook something up and deliver as now they can freely opt for the reboot of the universe. Again, for the fans, it’s sad to let the stars go who have entertained them for a very long time, but it was destined to end as DC will make an attempt to achieve something ‘better’.
