Award winning television producer Dana Eden was found dead in a hotel room in Athens. She was overseeing filming for the fourth season of the hit series Tehran at the time.
The 52 year old had travelled to Greece for production related work. She was found unresponsive after failing to reply to messages, which raised concern among family members.
Local authorities have ordered an autopsy and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. Officials said inquiries are currently ongoing.
Initial reports suggested a possible suicide. Pills were allegedly found at the scene, though authorities have stated that all details are still under review.
Police are examining security footage and questioning hotel staff as part of the investigation. No final conclusions have been announced so far.
