Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a game which is released by warner Bros. In 2024 ,based on the DC Comic team “The Suicide Squad”, this game was a spin of, of “The Batman- Arkham” and and a continuation of “Batman- Arkham Knight”. The gane introduced us with super villains like Deadshot, Harley Quinn. However, DC lovers and gamers expected the appearance of “Joker” as a playable character. Which wasn’t the case. This very event disappointed a mass audience.
Warner Bros. Discovery Chief Financial Officer, Gunnar Wiedenfels, admitted Rocksteady’s game hadn’t profited from the business the company had wished for since it got released , on February 2 with the priced of $70, saying it had “fallen short of our expectations.” Although the previous game they released in 2023 “ Hogwarts Legacy” received 9/10 from steam.
Wherthe “Suicide Squad-Kills the Justice League” received 5/10.
Rocksteady, was rumoured to be developing a Superman game, but they denied these rumours, and revealed “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” in August 2020, debuting the first trailer at DC FanDome on August 22, 2020.
Apart from all the financial aspects. Fans are furious to see the given abilities to their beloved superhero, “Flash can easily end the fight within one blink of those super villains.” ,“Batman can beat them up to pulp, what’s wrong with the game”, “Seriously what the hell is suicide Squad killed justice league”, these are the reaction of the fans found on redit.
To make a come back DC and Warner Bros have to work real hard keeping parallel with the comics. Now, we have to wait to see what comes next.
