Ryan Reynolds dropped the trailer for DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE and fans are going insane! Judging by the trailer, Marvel’s first R-Rated movie is going to be a joyride. The trailer has a lot to be talked about so let’s dive in!
The trailer starts with Wolverine in a bar, whether it’s the same bar as the one T J Miller’s Weasel owned is not a surety. A war torn and battered wolverine, very true to his character meets deadpool who has been recruited by the TVA in order to save the timeline. The movie will include the concept of a central hero being the lifeline of a universe. Moving forward we come across multiple easter eggs and character cameos, like Lady Deathstrike, Azazel and toad. We finally get a glimpse of the central villain “Cassandra Nova” who has the same telepathic abilities as her twin brother Charles Xavier.
Talking about easter eggs, we have Alioroth. The all-consuming monster last seen in loki tying it to the MCU’s God of Stories. We have moments of Deadpool trying to persuade this Logan to come join him on this road trip to save the timeline. The Fans are losing their mind as we finally have Wolverine in his sleeveless glory, treating the fans who were complaining about the “inaccuracy” in the comic accurate suit.
We will see the katanas calshing with claws in Deadpool & Wolverine on 26th July. The Marvel jesus is finally entering the broader universe with a doctor strange portal. Will we see sorcerer supreme in this movie after his setting off with Clea? Was the portal an indication for Secret wars? Will this movie finally be the resurrection of Marvel?
