Dune: Part Two is still a few days away from its release and it has already become the most anticipated movie of the year. The success and grandness of the first movie and the expectations to experience it on an even better scale have kept the fans excited.
The first reactions from the watchers of Dune: Part Two have only added to the hype. The biggest compliment comes from the best one at present, Christopher Nolan, who compared Dune: Part Two with “The Empire Strikes Back”. This is the highest compliment one could expect, that too, coming from someone like Nolan. “The Empire Strikes Back” has been regarded as one of the few sequels superior to its predecessor.
Denis Villeneuve, the director behind the movies reacted to Nolan’s praise. He said that he would never have dared to do it himself. He further added that ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ is his favourite Star Wars movie.
Dune: Part 2 will hit the theatres on 1 March. There have been rumours about a third movie though the director has made it clear that he will not rush to make a third movie and that he will take his time.
