Cannes Film Festival is a much awaited ceremony for every movie fanatics and this year’s selection features, “Do Not Enter”, “Aire, Just Breathe”, “Dirty Boy,” , “Sayara,”, “Mourir or Not Mourir”, “Black.White.Red.” and the Indian movie “Vadakkan”.
Based on a dravidian folklore, and rooted in the ancient Indus Valley civilization, It is time to again recall the forgotten deities in front of the world.
In a statement the makers have said, “‘Vadakkan’ promises to deliver a spine chilling and immersive cinematic experience, uniquely blending supernatural elements with a thrilling narrative.”.
Directed by Sajeed A, the movie has Kishore Kumar Shruthy Menon, who are the main leads of the movie.
The film is made in five languages and is set to hit theatres pan India.
The film delves deep into the realms of supernatural thriller, weaving together the enigmatic tapestry of ancient North Malabar folklore.
Vadakkan is set to be presented in May at this year’s Cannes, the rore of the forgotten deities will echo through the windows.
