“May Your Knife Chip and Shatter” – The most anticipated movie “Dune- Part 2” is going to hit the theatres on 1st March 2024. The epic sci-fi directed by Denis Villeneuve, is gearing up for a $170M Global Debut. This movie has the possibility to become the 1st “BlockBuster” of this year.
The 2021 movie “Dune- Part 1” was a visual masterpiece, having Hans Zimmer’s music as the original Soundtrack, and the mesmerizing acting of Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Issac etc. Which grossed $402M worldwide. But, unlike the first part The Part Two will be something bigger. Because according to the book written by “Frank Herbert” the most eventful things are about to take place in the 2nd part. This movie is going to introduce Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan and Austin Butler as the Feyd Rautha Harkannon.
Based on the success of the previous movie, this isn’t a hard task for Dune. Because recently in an interview Denis Villeneuve disclosed that, his vision was actually to make “Dune- Part 2” but then, he made “Dune- Part 1” as an appetizer. So that the audience would be familiar with the environment. Another Marketing strategy they production team followed is, they moveed the release date of this movie from last year’s October to now. So that Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya both be free and can promote the movie.
