And now directed by Gareth Edwards Universal’s Jurassic World 2025 sequel is having Obi-Wan Kenobi star Rupert Friend as the latest to join the cast.

He can also be seen in the Wes Anderson movies, in movies like The French Dispatch and Asteroid City the actor played a pivotal role.

The new Jurassic World movie is building itself slowly as it has a very intricate storyline, based on the OG Jurassic Park. No cast from the previous Jurassic World have been confirmed so there is no Chris Pratt or series stalwart Jeff Goldblum.

Jurassic World 2025 sees Rupert Friend reunited with co-star Scarlett Johansson, who plays Zora Valankova in the movie.

Glen Powell has been offered with a role which he turned down, according to him it was one of his dream projects but after reading the script he understood that there is no need for him to be in the movie.

Richard Gadd and Tobin Bell are rumoured to star in the movie, but it isn’t confirmed yet.

Jurassic World 4 will be the seventh entry in the franchise and is currently set to hit US theatres on July 2, 2025.
