Sam Mendes will be tasked with directing the motion pictures. Every movie will center on a single member’s district tale. Mendes will adapt a screenplay from a point of view and will have song rights for the written movie. Mendes will produce the films in collaboration with Julie Pastor and Pippa Harris of Neal Street Productions.

Sony intends to take advantage of the recent surge in popularity of music persona-based films by finding and making four films, which will be released in 2027.
