Warner Bros merged with Discovery two years ago to form the now called ‘Warner Bros Discovery’. But, we may see a change in the name in the near future.
There have been rumors that the media conglomerate is open to buy, merge or sell to a studio in April. To top it off, the company’s latest activities point in that direction as well.
Warner Bros has already signed Industry’s poster boy at the moment, Tom Cruise, who does not seem to be stopping anytime soon. He will make original and franchise movies with the studio.
Not only that, there are rumours that the studio will approach Quentin Tarantino to make a film with Tom. Even a PT Anderson-Cruise movie is on the cards.
Last year was good for the studio with movies like Barbie and Wonka. Now, it is working to make its arsenal as strong as it could.
There have been talks that the company CEO, David Zalsav, is looking at Cruise-Tarantino duet to attract more A-listers to the production house that will attract buyers for the company in a few months.
What will be the fate of Warner Bros Discovery, only time will tell. But, we would love a Cruise-Tarantino movie.
