Among the animated films to do so, Kung Fu Panda 4 has crossed the $500 million worldwide barrier. The movie centres on Po, a warrior-in-training who is selected to serve as the Valley of Peace’s spiritual guide. The Chameleon, a shape-shifting sorceress who is after Po’s Staff of Wisdom, presents a special challenge to Po.
Awkwafina plays Zhen, the corsac fox, in the movie, while Viola Davis plays The Chameleon. As Master Shifu and Po’s biological fathers, Dustin Hoffman and Bryan Cranston make a comeback. Over its eighth three-day weekend, the movie brought in $3.6 million at the US box office.
.With $184.99 million earned locally and $318.5 million earned internationally, Kung Fu Panda 4 has reached a $504.5 million global milestone. After The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, this is the fourth animated movie to do this since 2020.
The movie has crossed the $2 billion milestone and is the highest-grossing movie in the franchise in 37 nations, including Mexico and Brazil. It is also the seventh-highest-grossing animated franchise to do so.
