Batman is the only superhero that was and is loved by people irrespective of the media it is portrayed in.
The trend was followed when Robert Pattinson played the ‘Dark Knight’ in Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’. The movie was a commercial and critical success and people loved the darkness it brought to the screen.
Now, the sequel, ‘The Batman Part II’ is in development. The most exciting part about it comes from the last few scenes from the original, the return of the ‘Clown Prince of Crime’, Joker.
Barry Keoghan is most likely to return as Joker in the sequel given he did not deny his involvement in the project during a recent interview.
Fans have been hooked with Joker given the worldwide popularity the character gained from ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008). Even a standalone movie starring Joaquin Phoenix has been made.
It will be interesting to watch how Keoghan will portray him.
