Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated film, “Guntur Kaaram,” helmed by maverick Trivikram Srinivas, has become the talk of the town, creating a buzz of excitement among eager fans.
Adding a spicy note to the anticipation, the recent release of the song ‘Kurchi Madathapetti’ has stirred both excitement and a touch of controversy.
The film team playfully nudged the boundaries by incorporating the viral catchphrase into the song, drawing attention to Kala Pasha, the man behind the infamous words.
There were reports in the media that Kala Pasha, the elderly man from Hyderabad responsible for the viral phrase was compensated with a noteworthy sum of Rs 1 lakh for his vocal talents which can be considered a fair acknowledgment for his contribution.
However, the plot thickens as a video goes viral, with the humble elderly man claiming he was paid only Rs. 5000. The truth is that he was paid 5000 by the YouTube channel and was paid Rs. 1 Lakh by Thaman on behalf of Gutur Kaaram makers.
One lakh is a very decent amount for someone like Kala Pasha, but it means nothing much for a banner like Haarika & Hassine Creations.
