As a birthday treat for Vijay, they released the first look poster at midnight. The poster shows Vijay wielding a sledgehammer and displaying a fierce expression.
In Tollywood also, posters or teasers of upcoming films were released at 12 midnight on the occasion of a star hero’s birthday. But all that stuff has become outdated, and Tollywood has moved on from such silly strategies.
The Telugu industry PR has become much more tactful and is choosing timings when people from not just India but Overseas fans are active on social media. This way, better buzz and more awareness can be created about the films.
As far as the poster is concerned, a hyena is featured instead of a lion, possibly symbolizing something related to the film’s storyline. Set in Kashmir, the movie revolves around Vijay’s character, who is a restaurant owner with a mysterious past. The poster, at max, can be considered decent and nothing extraordinary.
The film is set to release on October 19 and also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, and Gautham Menon.
