5 Disasters– Will Krithi’s 6th Be a Hit or Quit?

Actress Krithi Shetty

Krithi Shetty burst onto the scene with a standout debut in Uppena as Bebemma, captivating audiences with her charm and innocence. She quickly became a rising star in Tollywood, with many predicting a bright future ahead.

However, her subsequent films, including Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju, were well-received but not extraordinary. Unfortunately, she then faced a string of disasters with The Warriorr, Macherla Niyojakavargam, Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, and Custody.

Her last Telugu film, Manamey, continued this trend. Despite looking good, her performance and character failed to make a significant impact, and the film’s box office performance was below average.

Currently, Krithi has no Telugu projects lined up and has shifted her focus to Malayalam and Tamil cinema. She is set to star alongside Tovino Thomas and Jayam Ravi in upcoming films.

Her debut Malayalam movie, ARM, features Tovino Thomas in a multi-generational tale set in northern Kerala across 1900, 1950, and 1990, where he plays three different characters protecting a treasure of land.

With five consecutive disasters behind her, the question remains whether Krithi’s film ARM will break the streak or if she will struggle further.

We hope she finds success in Tamil and Malayalam cinema and returns to Tollywood with a powerful and impactful role.
