The way things are panning out, it looks like we might see a very unlikeliest of clash happening for the next Pongal. Two films starring Nandamuri heroes, Jr NTR and Balakrishna, are going to get on sets soon and both the films are being targeted to have a Sinkranthi 2015 release. If this clash indeed happens it will be a first of sorts for sure.
So far the two have avoided releasing their movies together and whenever their releases are slated around the same time they have always been minimum three weeks apart. The closest one was almost a decade ago when NTR’s Andhrawala and Balakrishna’s Lakshmi Narasimha released within two weeks gap. Incidentally after a decade when they are coming so close the Jr NTR film is once again directed by Puri Jagannadh whereas the Balakrishna starrer is being made by debutant Satyadeva. One has to wait and see where the Nandamuri fans loyalties are going to be upon the release of the film or if they maintain a gap again as usual.
