The Mighty Avengers, as expected, has created a new record for the opening weekend at the Indian box office. It is the new Non-Baahubali record surpassing 2.0 by a good margin.
Avengers: Endgame has collected more than 50 Cr Nett on three consecutive days. It is a feat that is not achieved by any Bollywood movie so far. It takes the three days total to over 150 Cr Nett. The previous best record holder for Hindi movies is Sanju at around 120 Cr Nett.
However, one has to keep in mind that most of the Bollywood movies are single language unlike any of the films on the list below. Baahubali 2 is the highest by a considerable margin, and it is followed by Avengers: Endgame and 2.0. After the opening day, now, there is no Bollywood movie in the top 3 for the weekend as well. The same is likely to be true for the first week as well.
Interestingly all the top 3 have come on non-holiday. Even the Bollywood movie Sanju was a non-Holiday release. It highlights how overrated the Holiday released have been in setting records in Bollywood.
