In a tragic incident, a stuntman died on the sets of the Tamil film Sardar 2, which features Karthi in the lead role. The victim named Ezhumalai died after falling from 20 feet height while shooting an action sequence of the movie.
According to the details, Ezhumalai sustained serious injuries after falling from such a height. It is heard that he had a severe injury near the chest and there was a lot of internal bleeding in the lungs.
He was rushed to the hospital soon but it was of no use. Reports say that he died due to an internal haemorrhage.
The shoot came to an immediate halt after this incident. The team informed the police about this accident and they are currently investigating the matter.
Sardar 2 was launched last week and the regular shoot began on July 15 in Chennai. Within two days of the start of the shoot, this tragic incident happened.
