Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai police arrested Madras Cafe movie actress Leena Paul and her business partner in 10 Cr cheating case. Police said, the actress started her own investment firm and lured customers assuring 10 time return on the investment in short time.

Cops said “actress and her partner attracted people with their plush life style, but she does not have any source of income.” We received several complaints from the people who were duped, said police.
Police seized nine luxury cars which include high end cars like Audi, Mercedes with a total worth of 6.5 Cr have been seized. During the raid cops also seized 117 imported watches worth roughly 1.7 crore and Rs 3.5 Laksh cash.
According to police she tricked no less than 1000 people by charing Rs 5000- Rs 30Lakhs. Shockingly she was arrested in a fraud case in 2013 when she duped Canara bank for 19 cr. 26 year old Leena Paul previously acted in Madras Cafe movie.
