The Agadha team began its publicity jathara with a temple visit to the Balkampet Yellamma Pochamma Temple in Hyderabad. The team offered special bonalu prayers as part of the traditional ritual.
Heroine Kamakshi Bhaskarla took part in the ceremony in a traditional look and offered the bonalu with devotion. Film maker M.S. Raju, producer Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu, presenter Ajay KR, hero Sravan Reddy, and executive producer NVN Subbaraju were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu said the film has already generated strong buzz through its posters and teaser. She described Agadha as a fresh take on the divine mystic thriller space.
Director M.S. Raju said the story is partly inspired by the goddess and added that launching the promotions with her blessings made the event feel special. He also said the film is being planned on a grand scale and that the trailer will be released soon.
Agadha stars Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Sravan Reddy, Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar, and Sijju. The film is written and directed by M.S. Raju, presented by Ajay KR, and produced by Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu under Sri Adi Varaha Productions.
The technical team includes music director Rakesh Venkatapuram, cinematographer Nani Chamidishetty, editor Junaid Siddiqui, N.V.N. Subbaraju is the executive producer, and additional screenplay writer Chaitanya Vegi.
The film is slated for a worldwide release on August 14, 2026.
