The film Akhil which marks the debut of new Akkineni hero Akhil is generating different buzz with each passing day. Here is the latest buzz on the film from the industry.

It is being said that the film is silently undergoing re-shoot of certain portions which didn’t come up to satisfaction levels. These re-shoots is what has made the film being postponed indefinitely. But the real juicy bit here is that the team is now looking at arriving for Sankranthi festival after readying the product to their satisfaction.It means Akhil would be clashing with Jr NTR’s next Nannaku Prematho.
The problem here is will the distributors allow such long leap to take place? The film has already been sold for record prices in Akkineni family which clearly needs holiday period to recover. It is therefore going to be either Diwali or Sankranthi. We have to wait and see how the Akhil team sorts out the distribution hassles and fixes a final date.
