Actress Urvashi Rautela has sent a legal to a self-proclaimed journalist, Umair Sandhu, for allegedly spreading disgusting rumors about her on his Twitter handle.
Sharing the fake reports screen grab along with her statement, Urvashi wrote, “DEFAMATION LEGAL NOTICE HAS BEEN SERVED BY MY LEGAL TEAM. DEFINITELY DISGRUNTLED BY INDECENT JOURNALISTS LIKE YOU FOR YOUR SPURIOUS / RIDICULOUS TWEETS. YOU’RE NOT MY OFFICIAL SPOKESPERSON. AND YES YOU’RE A VERY IMMATURE KIND OF A JOURNALIST WHO MADE ME & MY FAMILY EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE.”
On April 18, Umair Sandhu shared a collage picture of Urvashi and Akhil on Twitter, and wrote, “#AkhilAkkineni “Harassed” Bollywood Actress #UrvashiRautela during Item Song Shoot of #Agent in Europe. As per her, He is a very immature kind of actor & feeling uncomfortable working with him.”
In his Twitter bio, Umair Sandhu claims to be the ‘Most Controversial No.1 South Asian Film Critic & Bollywood Adult Gossip Journalist.’
He also says that he is a member of the Dubai Censor office and he keeps posting fake reviews of movies much before their release which are picked up by even mainstream media without even verifying.
In the past also, he spread many fake rumors like Prabhas and Kriti Sanon dating and getting engaged. He recently also posted that Pawan Kalyan is ‘liking’ his new heroine, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and getting cozy with her on the sets of OG.
He also wrote recently that Disha Patani is a sex addict and that’s why Tiger Shroff ditched her. He also claimed that the inside reports of Mani Ratnam’s PS2 are crap and it will become the biggest disaster.
It’s good to see Urvashi Rautela coming forward and slapping a defamation case against this fake insider who is spewing venom against many celebs and spoiling their reputation.
