The last time, a Telugu superstar worked with a Tamil director, we got Game Changer. This film market, the collaboration of Ram Charan and Shankar, and it went wrong on multiple levels right from conceptualisation to execution.
On top of that, Charan had an absolute horror show of an experience with this film as Shankar had his priorities elsewhere and worked on a stake Indian 2 in the middle, at the expense of Game Changer.
And now we are going to witness another crossover project in the form of the ongoing collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee.
After having watched what had happened with Game Changer, Telugu audience have been of the opinion that ignoring Tamil directors is the best way forward for Telugu superstars.
But that doesn’t take away the fact that Allu Arjun is a more dedicated and hands-on hero. He likes to be involved with every step of production of his projects and works very closely with his directors to get what he wants.
Atlee might be a proven commercial director but Arjun will make sure that every step of this project is carved with care. His fire and desire to get the best possible outputs is evident with almost all of his recent films.
But it can also be noted that something interesting is happening with Allu Arjun and Atlee project already. It has been nearly 8 months since Allu Arjun completed Pushpa 2 but he is yet to get back to sets.
This extreme delay itself is frustrating his fans, and Arjun might have to work on the timelines right from the starting stages itself.
