Director Anil Ravipudi spoke to M9 News journalist Nishant after the Sankranthi success of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. The film has shown steady collections even on weekdays, keeping the team optimistic about its long-term box office performance.
Anil Ravipudi said the coming weekend will give clarity on whether the film can enter the 500 Crore Club. He stated that Chiranjeevi garu was presented exactly the way fans and family audiences expected. He described the film as a personal tribute to the Megastar.
The director explained the effort that went into Chiranjeevi’s looks and styling. He noted that the performance feels different from the actor’s other second-innings films. According to him, this shift was intentional and designed to offer a fresh yet familiar experience.
