Suresh Babu, one of the big producers of Tollywood who has a lot of resources to make several films at a time is now plunging into the OTT arena, maybe, the lockdown has actually revealed the importance of digital platforms.
With anther producer Allu Arvind already in the field who launched ‘Aha‘ and struggling to keep afloat as it was already late as there were experienced players like ZEE5 etc. who have been in this since long.
In this scenario when one Telugu TT channel is still trying to make its presence felt, is it the right idea to launch another OTT platform? Though there are numerous possibilities on the face of it, OTT is altogether a different ball of the game.
Regional digital platforms will have limited resources because they would be offering regional films and movies and web series made especially for OTT platforms will rule the roost mostly. What do you think about producer Suresh Babu’s idea to enter into digital space?
