Usually, at least 2 new Telugu titles arrive on OTT every week. ZEE5, Aha Video, and a few other platforms have made it a point to serve the Telugu OTT crowd with fresh content week in week out.
But things have turned dull and pale in the Telugu OTT space for the past few days. Not many Telugu titles have been landing on OTT. Last week, low-budget film Sehari was the only notable Telugu title to arrive in the Telugu OTT space. It premiered on Aha Video.

This week again, incidentally, there is only one scheduled arrival in the Telugu OTT space and for the second consecutive time in as many weeks, Aha Video is the savior. Recent theatrical release DJ Tillu is set to be made available for streaming on Aha Video from 4th March. This is the only noteworthy title that is set for premieres.
Telugu OTT space had been brimming with fresh arrivals every week for a long time now, and all of a sudden, things have gone dull.

With theatres opening up, filmmakers appear to be exploring the theatrical release option instead of the direct to OTT prospect. Or else, original Telugu OTT content production might have gone down. Either way Telugu OTT crowd is being deprived of new options.
