Ashok Galla, the son of highly successful entrepreneur Jay Galla, came up with his second film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva which has become a washout right from the first shows.

The makers tried to cash in on the brand name of Hanuman director Prasanth Varma, who provided the story for the film.

But Prasanth Varma himself is not a well-established brand, and his involvement didn’t add much value to the film.
Surprisingly, the story he provided is the major issue, and a newcomer like Ashok Galla couldn’t even assess or judge it properly. This shows how poor his judgmental skills are.

Even though he comes from a highly successful family, the film could not be promoted well enough to grab even the minimum attention.
While a film’s success or failure is decided post-release, the fate of this film seemed pretty much sealed before its release. No one was even aware the film was coming to theaters.
They tried to use Mahesh Babu’s name here and there, but they should have realized by now that only content works. Using Mahesh Babu’s name won’t draw audiences.
Despite coming from an educated and successful family, it’s clear that there is a lack of cinema sense and judgment within the family.
It’s hoped that they will sit down and reflect on what went wrong with this film. Before it’s too late, they should try to understand the mistakes that led to its failure.
