M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Hero Panja Vaishnav Tej and director Srikanth Reddy to talk about their November 24th release, Aadikeshava. We asked Vaishnav Tej about how the project happened to him and his inhibitions about doing a film that is completely a commercial entertainer.
Vaishnav Tej admitted that it has come to notice about the memes and social media taunts equating Aadikeshava to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. “I have friends who send me those memes,” he said.
The director Srikanth Reddy also said that he is aware that his story is similar to Gali Janardhan Reddy demolishing Sunkulamma Temple but says both are different.
“I have an inspiration from Mica Mining mafia in Jharkhand where they use small kids for mining. I was moved with their plight. But at the same time, I am not going to preach about it. The track will be only for ten minutes in the movie,” the director said.
Vaishnav Tej also says he has no reservations whatsoever fearing Sree Leela will overshadow him. “I think I put in my best efforts in dances. I am surprised with the output. Credit should go to Sekhar Master,” he told.
The Uppena hero is also raving about the climax sequence of the film and how the director scripted the fight that comes there.
He also admitted to the failure of his last film, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga. “We have worked hard. A film will work only when all departments work. Probably, something did not work but I am not going to point out. But I guess this time Aadikeshava will work for sure,” he said.
