A few months ago, Bengaluru police busted a rave party at a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city. Many influential people were caught in this raid. One among them was actress Hema.
However, Hema denied the allegations and argued that she was in Hyderabad at that time. A few days later, Hema was sent to judicial remand as she tested positive for drug consumption.

On June 14, Hema was released from jail on conditional bail. Despite this, she said that she was innocent and asserted that she had no involvement in the case.
In a recent development, the Bengaluru police filed a charge sheet of 1,086 pages in connection to the case. A total of 88 individuals have been named as accused, including Hema. Out of these, 79 were attendees, while 9 were the event organizers.

The report indicates that Hema consumed MDMA drugs at the party. Her medical records were included as evidence in the charge sheet. She has been charged under NDPS Section 27.
After her release, Hema continued to assert her innocence and showed her medical reports as proof. Even the Movie Artists Association (MAA) lifted her suspension. Now that the charge sheet has been filed, it remains to be seen how she will respond.
