Following the success of Maargan, actor Vijay Antony is back with yet another powerful project Bhadrakaali. Directed by Arun Prabhu and produced by Ramanjaneyulu Javvaji under the banner of Sarvanth Ram Creations, Bhadrakaali marks the 25th film in Vijay Antony’s career.
The actor reveals that Bhadrakaali is a political thriller. “The core theme revolves around contemporary politics. I play the role of a political mediator. Usually, politics in cinema is portrayed in a very dramatic way, but in this film, it’s handled in a much more natural and realistic manner,” he shares.
Vijay Antony says director Arun Prabhu approached him with a compelling script. “He has directed two films previously, and I’m particularly fond of his film Aruvi. I’m delighted that my 25th film is being made under his direction.”
Speaking about his role, he elaborates, “The character of a political broker hasn’t been portrayed like this before. Every element in the film feels authentic. I even acted without makeup to preserve that sense of realism. We kept everything natural.”
Presented by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and Meera Vijay Antony, Bhadrakaali is set for a grand release tomorrow, through Asian Suresh Entertainment in collaboration with Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media.
