Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu had a fantastic opening day. It was ahead of Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam. However, right from the opening day early signs of potential cracks were visible.

The weekend gone by was superb for Bharat Ane Nenu, but the issue is that the trend wasn’t that big. It was evident that there is a difference in reception in few centres. The overall number look big because those came from the high grossing ‘A’ centres. But, on the first Monday, and also today (fifth day), it is clear that BAN is going to fall behind Rangasthalam in the long run.
The Monday figure is lower compared to the same time number of Rangasthalam. The more noticeable factor was that even, the ‘A’ centres which were driving the gross for Bharat Ane Nenu over the weekend showed a drop. It also doesn’t help the BAN chase, that Rangasthalam continues to draw the audience.
Even in the overseas, there is a slow shift. A better picture would be known in the coming few days, but it looks likely that in the longer run, BAN might fall short or just about match Rangasthalam. Let us wait and see how things transpire in the next few days.
