Bhushan Kumar, managing director of T-Series, has signed director Rajkumar Periasamy for his Hindi debut in a pan-India film, scheduled to hit the theatres in 2025.
While more details regarding the project are currently being kept under wraps, sources reveal that Bhushan was reportedly impressed with Periasamy’s storytelling in Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.

But not everyone is impressed with this partnership. Many have pointed out Bhushan’s habit of latching on to successful directors, milking them to the full extent until they have nothing more to give.
Many termed him as an opportunist, openly criticizing how he used Sandeep Reddy Vanga after the success of Arjun Reddy to churn out films like Kabir Singh, Animal, Animal Park, and Spirit.

People are afraid that the T-Series mogul would bestow the same fate on Rajkumar Periasamy, burning him out just because Amaran turned out to be a blockbuster at the BO.
Despite these criticisms, people are willing to keep a positive mindset as they wait for the film to hit the theatres in 2025.
