Bollywood director impressed with Ravi Teja’s comic timing

It’s confirmed that Ravi Teja is making his Bollywood debut in director Samir Karnik, who made Yamla Pagla Deewana. However, when asked why did he cast Ravi Teja, the director said he was impressed with the actor’s timing for comedy.

He says he watched some of Ravi Teja’s Telugu dubbed films in Hindi, and instantly was bowled over by the actor’s comic timing. He later watched those dubbed films in Hindi and realized the talent of Ravi.

Ravi will be playing one of the leads in Samir’s next film, and it is believed he will play a con-man along the lines of his character in the film Don Seenu. The director refused divulge more details. Is this the big break Ravi Teja has been hoping for.
