The Bigg Boss contestant Uorfi Javed has been detained by Dubai police for wearing clothes that were inappropriate in a public space, which are against the rules in the desert kingdom. Uorfi Javed has been in Dubai for a week, where she had to complete a few projects. At the time of her detainment, Uorfi was shooting for a video when the local police caught up with her.
The telly actress is known for her unconventional clothing choices and how she chooses to wear them. She has been trolled vehemently for her dress sense, but Uorfi Javed has remained undeterred and has continued to post pictures of herself on Instagram and social media in general.
Uorfi was recently seen in Spiltsvilla X4 hosted by Sunny Leone and Arjun Bijlani. At the time, she grabbed eyeballs for her sense of dressing. Uorfi also made news when she had a public spat with Chetan Bhagat, who said ‘she was a distraction for the boys.’ He, however, later went on to say he was misquoted. However, Uorfi went ahead and posted Whatsapp messages of Chetan Bhagat’s conversations and pointed out how he was accused during the #Metoo phase.
However, this is not the first time the actress has had a problem with the law. When she shot for the remake of Zeenat Aman’s popular number Haye Yeh Majboori, a written complaint was lodged against her for ‘publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act.’ She also landed in legal trouble when she wore an orange saree in a music video.
