Some stories do have similarities by the virtue of the subject and the background. When two movies bank on the subject of war, naturally they will speak about valour, pride, loyalty and patriotism. Those are the similarities between Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ and Krish’s ‘Manikarnika’.

Both the stories are penned by Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad and hence, the writer says that both the stories have the same underlying spirit. The lead characters namely Baahubali and Manikarnika (Jhansi Lakshmi Bai) fight for the sake of their country and hence, the soul of the film will be alike.
‘Manikarnika’ is gaining huge attention not only for the subject but also for the recent controversy on the alleged objectionable scenes. The above comparison to Baahibali will also make heard turn as the two stories came from the same writer’s pen. While Rajamouli’s epic movie was a fiction, Krish’s directorial is a historic drama.
