Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar opened in theaters on 11 August. The film opened to poor reviews and is getting lambasted for its cringe stuff.
Coming to the theatrical returns, the film has gotten off to a rather poor start at the box office.
Reportedly, the film collected a shade under Rs 15 crores share at the box office on its first day which is a pretty poor number. This share includes hires and MGs. If we remove these, then the worth share will be a sorry figure.
The film has seen a nosedive in collections today owing to the poor reviews and weak word of mouth.
At this rate, the film might end up collecting under Rs 30 crores share at the box office which would mean that it will end up as a bigger disaster than Acharya, which already stands as one of the biggest disasters in Tollywood.
After making a comeback with Waltair Veerayya, Chiru has delivered another mega disaster with Bholaa Shankar which will be one of the biggest loss ventures in Tollywood.
