The third episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9 is out now. It features Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor returning to the couch once again, along with Arjun Kapoor making an extended appearance.
The host and the trio have known each other for a long time. So obviously, they are expected to be comfortable in terms of having a conversation on any particular topic. Unfortunately, a lot of changes can be observed here compared to what we have seen in the show years ago.
Koffee With Karan became well-known for revealing facts about stars that remain unknown to the public. It is one of the primary reasons why people have eagerly waited for the new episodes to arrive every week.
But the latest one appeared completely different. Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan speak to each other about a dispute they had with each other. As a viewer, when someone is waiting to find out more, they discover that the matter was explored only to an extent, as Karan does not reveal the name of his film that was supposed to clash with Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
On the other hand, Karan tries to keep himself safe by not discussing in detail his dispute with Janhvi Kapoor. Once again, the curiosity to know everything ends abruptly, and this possibly takes away the interest from the episode.
In between all this, the biggest highlight of the episode comes when Janhvi admits that she should have spoken up before the Peddi controversy happened. Janhvi might or might not be a part of Telugu films anymore, and this will make anyone continue checking the headlines once the episode ends.
The rapid-fire does not offer anything new, except the fact that Karan’s response appears different, and in some cases, it is evident that he is not willing to reply to the duo.
As things start to crumble, Arjun Kapoor arrives. The actor is undoubtedly facing a tough time in terms of his career. But his appearance is what gets everyone’s attention in this new episode.
