There had been a lot of speculations in the media on Mahesh Babu’s next project after Koratala Shiva’s project ‘Srimanthudu’ (title not official). In this scenario, family entertainers director Srikanth Addala’s name came into focus. It had been all over the web that Mahesh’s next movie is finalised with Srikanth and only the official announcement is pending.
In a recent interview Srikanth Addala talked about his latest release ‘Mukunda’ and also his upcoming movie ‘Brahmotsavam’. The film is definitely going to be a family entertainer and the hero of the film will be announced by the production house very soon. Does that imply, Mahesh hasn’t given nod to Srikanth’s movie yet or else the fate of ‘Mukunda’ has changed the superstar’s decision?
The same thing happened with many directors before. The projects announced with directors like Srinu Vaitla, Harish Shankar, Dev Katta and others were either put in hold or totally dumped when the above said film makers’ latest films flopped contrary to the expectations. However Srikanth Addala hopes ‘Mukunda’ has scope for picking up soon because of word of mouth and repeat SVSC feat.
