Once again Superstar Mahesh Babu has been left exposed with the openings of a film. He is no doubt right among top stars when it comes to pulling the audience for a good film but it’s the initials where he has been lacking at its highlighted again.

Brahmotsavam has taken decent to good openings in the strong areas of Mahesh Babu like Nizam, East, Krishna etc along with US where it had second best premiere number. However even here the numbers are not that big compared to the one’s at the top.
In other territories where Mahesh Babu is weak, the performance has been dismal to say the least. In some areas it couldn’t better Aagadu openings too. It is these openings which have always put him a step down compared to some of his peers and to give credit to him, he has improved in recent past. But with Brahmotsavam, the openings curse has struck big time.
