Generally, when a young director gets to work with a star hero and is able to deliver a reasonably good product, there is a lot of demand for him in the market. But that is not the case with Buchi Babu.
After the success of Uppena, Buchi Babu got to work with superstar, Ram Charan for his immediate next project. He executed an alright product in the form of Peddi. The output might not have matched the hard work that was by Charan, but it is a decent product nevertheless.
However, the passage of events after the release of this film have become a topic of discussion as Buchi Babu is simply unable to create any kind of anticipation for himself at this point.
The film is done with the release and it is out of theatres as well, but there has been no consolidated talk on the next collaboration of Buchi Babu. There were unverified reports about him being in touch with Mahesh, but this looked unlikely from the first day so there’s continuation to it.
Charan seemed so impressed with the working style of Buchi Babu that he replied that he would be ready to work with him again in the future. But even this collaboration is not to be expected in the foreseeable future.
Charan will have to take care about his next project and possibly work with Sukumar if everything falls into place. But on the other hand, Buchi might have to work even harder to convince another hero to work with him in the near future. There are doubts on whether star heroes would be ready to work with him at this point.
