Whoever watched the trailer, if not the Bollywood film ‘Grand Masti’, an adult comedy can surely say that it is an ‘A’ rated movie. Only the Censor Board didn’t see it that way. In spite of too many double meaning dialogues and indecent content throughout, Censor Board passed it with U/A certificate.

A Public Interest Litigation was filed against this adult comedy to stop it from screening on television as the complainant opines that the content of ‘Grand Masti’ isn’t suitable for public viewing. The movie was due for telecast on this 22nd August.
The adult comedy starring Reteish Deshmukh (Genelia’s hubby), Vivek Oberoi (Raktha Charitra) and Aftab Shivdasani garnered negative reviews and was given the lowest ratings. Nevertheless, it became a superhit movie and entered 100 crore club very soon.
The bench hearing into the matter of stopping the film from being telecasted also opined that such content can’t be shown on television for public viewing. The hearing on the final judgement may come today.
